Browse through any new catalog or watch a home improvement show on HGTV and you may start to see a trend in lighting. The trend is all about nostalgic lighting that is simple yet elegant. Just the other day I was watching Property Brothers and saw some hanging pendants that had the farmhouse look similar to one of our fixtures in the store. We just received in some new items that we think are unique and have that nostalgic look that is so popular right now.
One of the unique fixtures we have right now is a pull down farmhouse style light with a turn of the century design. The fixture is set on a counter weight pulley that allows it to be moved up and down with just the touch of a finger. Great for areas where you may want to have different heights as you move around furniture in a room. The cord a cloth covered style that finishes off the nostalgic look perfectly.
The other unique nostalgic items we have right now are the replication milk jug hanging fixtures. They also have the turn of the century style cloth covered cord and are fully adjustable in height.
The last featured nostalgic item is our simple, one light hanging pendant on a cloth covered cord. The simplicity of the design shows off the nostalgic Edison style bulb, making it a focal point of the item.
We stock both the standard larger size nostalgic light bulbs as well as candelabra size nostalgic light bulbs. The Edison style light bulbs have been very popular and we sell them separately from the fixtures as well.
